UK-based creative communications group DRPG ended 2022 with a company conference for 400 team members at which the agency reflected on successes during the outgoing year and set profit goals for 2023. The conference ended with a Christmas in Wonderland themed party and an internal awards ceremony. 2022 was a year that saw DRPG make several investments, including the opening of a US office in Atlanta and the expansion of its Northern European operations in Cologne. This included expanding its Creative team to specialise in new technologies such as Metaverse solutions, immersive Holoplot, and AI technologies, which were all demonstrated at the agency’s Bigtalk event in September. The company also invested in its training academy as well as establishing a ‘Next-Gen’ board of younger team members to innovate across all areas of the organisation. DRPG won 41 awards for its work and the Queen’s Award for Enterprise and Sustainable Development during the year and is also working towards becoming a B-Corp certified company in 2023. DRPG was also a sponsor and official provider for the Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games. The company also completed 58 CSR projects including supporting educational institutions in promoting the creative industries, raising awareness of homelessness, and raising funds for charities. CEO Dale Parmenter commented: “We are proud of the positive impact we have had in the creative communications industry this year, and we are excited to continue innovating and delivering high-quality work for our clients. “It was a pleasure to host many Christmas parties over the past month at our specialist studio complex, from clients to charities, and it was perfect to end the year with a festive celebration for our own team, partners and freelancers. At DRPG, we believe in the importance of building a positive and supportive workplace culture, and the annual Christmas conference is a chance for us to come together as a team and strengthen our relationships.”
