Suntec Singapore Convention and Exhibition Centre (The Centre) has recently distributed 400 Night Survival Kits to private hire and taxi drivers, to celebrate the start of the Centre’s 24-hour operations. It is part of a partnership with Indonesia-based technology group STB, that launched a taxi-hailing service in Singapore last year, The Centre’s 24/7 operations is designed to attract lifestyle events specially catered to night owls – late-night parties, sports screenings, movie marathons, concerts and e-sports. The Night Survival Kits contained snacks and refreshments, Red Bull energy drinks, sweets and an array of Gojek-branded car accessories. Singapore Airlines, meanwhile, has partnered with Singapore Tourism Board (STB) for a content-led campaign to promote the ‘Unexpected Journeys’ that Singapore and Singapore Airlines have to offer. The three-part video series sees three Scottish friends showcase the depth and breadth of Singapore and the distinctive experiences travellers can enjoy in the destination as well as on board Singapore Airlines, many of them unexpected. The three 20-minute films are available on YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/UnexpectedJourneys from 23 September 2019. “With the launch of ‘Unexpected Journeys’ in partnership with the Singapore Tourism Board, we are excited to play host to travellers as they travel with Singapore Airlines, and go off the beaten path to experience Singapore through authentic and meaningful experiences that are unforgettable and uniquely local,” said Singapore Airlines Senior Vice-President Sales and Marketing, Mr Campbell Wilson. “The Unexpected Journeys campaign continues our partnership with Singapore Airlines to tell the Singapore Story to global audiences in a refreshing and light-hearted manner. Working with local comedian, Rishi Budhrani, we shine the spotlight on Singapore’s lesser-known talents, businesses and authentic local experiences,” added Ms Lynette Pang, Assistant Chief Executive, Marketing Group, Singapore Tourism Board.
