Video: Luxury Carribean resort opens conference centre

The luxury Caribbean Resort of Casa De Campo in the Dominican Republic has announced the opening of a new event space, ‘Marina Riverside Centre’, in November 2019.

Set on the shores of the Chavon river, the structure, which offers an open-air tent design (allowing for indoor and outdoor space), is surrounded by sweeping river-edge views of both the Caribbean Sea and the nearby luxury marina.

The Marina Riverside centre features the advanced technology and capacity for up to 1,360 guests. It is expected to host large meetings, trade shows, award ceremonies, product launches, training, team-building activities, concerts, parties, weddings and more.

The venue has been designed to offer maximum security and exceptional privacy if needed, while the location means it can host late night events without impacting other resort guests.

The 7,000-acre luxury resort already features two large conference venues totalling 19,000sqft of dedicated meeting facilities, with numerous smaller outdoor and indoor venues also available on-site.

Popular team-building activities at Casa de Campo include a Scavenger Hunt through the cobbled streets of Altos De Chavon, a Beach Olympics or Donkey Polo – a fun game using a broom, rather than polo sticks.

Punta Cana Airport is a 45 minute drive from the resort and a 9 hour direct flight from the UK.
