Greater Palm Springs is raising its profile for entrepreneurs and investors with local CVB Visit Greater Palm Springs (VGPS) launching a new Economic Development website, LiveWorkGPS.com. The site highlights the region’s diverse business ecosystem, investment opportunities, and commitment to long-term economic growth across its nine cities of Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Cathedral City, Rancho Mirage, Indian Wells, La Quinta, Indio, Desert Hot Springs, and Coachella, as well as communities of unincorporated Riverside County and five tribal nations.
Developed at the direction of the Greater Palm Springs Joint Powers Authority (JPA) and in close collaboration with each city’s leadership, the new website reflects more than a year of research and stakeholder engagement. It marks a strategic evolution in VGPS’s role, expanding beyond tourism marketing to support a unified regional vision for innovation, quality of life, and economic resilience.

Particular areas of excellence and growth that the CVB is promoting are healthcare, higher education, sustainability, creative industries, and agriculture.
