international communications agency for events and live-marketing VOK DAMS’s China operation has launched consumer experience activities for performance electric vehicle manufacturer, Polestar, a Volvo subsidiary. For the launch of the new Polestar 2, VOK DAMS produced an attention-grabbing pop-up experience in four key cities: Hangzhou, Shanghai, Beijing, and Shenzhen. VIPs, press and the general-public were invited to the roadshow to learn more about the Polestar 2 and the brand behind it. The goal was to bring maximum awareness for the Polestar Cube, a minimalist designed electric vehicle packed with innovation. There were anamorphic 3D projections to create a real sense of depth and communicate the key brand and product messages: sustainability, safety, connectivity and design. The immersive brand experience was designed to appeal to thousands both onsite and online. VOK DAMS points out that the current experiential trend is a sway towards regional events, with many small events held in different locations as a roadshow. The agency has also produced a White Paper with insights into how hybrid roadshows can boost target group centricity and lead to measurably successful campaigns. It also shares fours hacks for successful hybrid roadshows. Download the ‘Think Globally, Experience Locally’ White Paper for free here.
