Chris Xenophontos (pictured) has joined Warwick Hotels & Resorts as the new global account director UK. He joins the company from Movenpick Hotels & Resorts where he was corporate sales director for the last nine years. Xenophontos will be charged with developing opportunities from the MICE and corporate sectors within the UK. Founded in 1980, Warwick Hotels and Resorts represents a collection of 55 upscale hotels and resorts. The collection stretches from Europe to the United States, and from the Middle East to Asia and Africa. Warwick Hotels are on the Champs Elysees in Paris and next to Harrods in London (Capital hotel), while in New York they are on 6th Avenue and in San Francisco on Union Square. Xeophontos says he will be visiting most of the hotels this year to get to know the product.
