Convention Centre Dublin secures 90 events

The Convention Centre Dublin has secured 90 events in the last six months, including 32 international conferences, forecast to generate €55.5m for the local Irish economy and to attract over 37,000 international delegates to Dublin. International association conferences include the 13th International Conference on Low Vision 2020, Velo-city 2019, the 19th European Congress of Neurosurgery 2019, Security Printers International Conference and Exhibition 2018, European SharePoint Conference 2017 and the 13th European Peritoneal Dialysis Meeting 2017. Paul Carnell, sales director at The CCD commented, “We are delighted to have secured such a large number of conferences in recent months. We are very proud of the contribution these events will make to the Irish economy and look forward to welcoming the many visitors and delegates from a range of industries and areas.
