Brussels International Association Forum moved to March 2022

The launch of the first edition of the Brussels International Association Forum (BIAF) has been moved from 6-7 December 2021 to 14-15 March 2022. All delegates have been informed and have the option of either transferring their purchased BIAF ticket or to receive a full refund. Kai Troll, president of ASSOCIATIONWORLD, the association organising BIAF, said: “A large number of delegates raised concerns about attending public in-door events given the current Covid-19 climate. Many associations have issued new internal guidelines that changes people’s behaviour. The true value of BIAF lays in the workshops, peer-to-peer exchange, in-person networking and the experiential learning experience. BIAF is not a commercial event as such and we have to listen to our community. We feel it is, therefore, most appropriate and sensible at this moment in time, to move BIAF into spring, and we would be delighted to welcome all association peers and friends who are then interested in the exchange”. All BIAF speakers have committed their ongoing involvement so far, therefore it is planned to deliver the same programme. There will be a new theme track and some extra topics that will be relevant for discussions in March, as well as adding hybrid elements to BIAF. In the meantime, two complementary online sessions will be run in preparation to BIAF.
