TravelRave, Asia’s travel and tourism week, returns for a 6th time to Singapore as a platform for business and industry professionals to exchange travel insights and expand networks.
Asia’s travel and tourism week comes after hotel research specialists STR Global released (19 October) September data for Singapore which indicated decreases in several key performance metrics; a 0.1% decrease in occupancy to 80.6%, as well as a 2.5% decrease in revenue per available room to SG$254.47 (US$183.81).
The travel and tourism week will run from 19 to 23 October and it will see a line-up of speakers and events expounding on the trends and issues facing the travel ecosystem.
Highlights from TravelRave 2015 include: Web in travel conference, ITB Asia will host the show’s first ‘luxury travel and hospitality forum’, and the hotel management summit. As well as these conferences the week will also celebrate the best in Asian tourism with two of TravelRave’s awards events, the TravelRave Leaders Gala, and Singapore Experience Awards.
Director of exhibitions and conferences for Singapore Tourism Board, Mr Andrew Phua, said: “Launched in 2010, TravelRave has been shining the spotlight on Asian travel and tourism as a one-stop platform for industry professionals to gain strategic knowledge and insights into the region’s multi-faced environment.”
