London-based information media technology and professional services company BroadGroup is to launch Datacloud Asia, a data centre and cloud finance and deal-making forum, in Singapore next year. The congress is booked for 23 February 2017 and organisers say the launch follows the success of its Datacloud Europe in Monaco and Nordic events. The new Asia forum will also include the first Asia Data Centre and Cloud Awards dinner and ceremony. Datacloud Asia will also include findings from a special Regional Report based on organiser BroadGroup’s research. Philip Low, managing director of BroadGroup says: “Asia hubs is the central theme of this new event with a strong focus on investors, enterprises and doing deals. It also aims to offer inspiring insights for companies seeking a better way of hosting and colocating in the new reality of a data-driven and cloud-connected world.” The forum promises to highlight the value of outsourcing data centre, cloud and IT infrastructure across the fast growing Asia region and, organisers say, is designed to appeal to both users and outsourcers. DataCloud Asia will take place at Singapore’s Star Capella Conference Centre, Sentosa Island. The BroadGroup also runs the Finance and Investment Forum in London in January 2017.
