Arrangements to the programme for Convene 2016, which kick off tomorrow and features more than 165 hosted buyers, are now complete.
An education programme of 28 sessions covers topics including women in leadership; organising incentive programmes; meetings industry trends; public speaking techniques; how to work with the trade press; destination knowledge hubs.
The networking programme includes a buyer only welcome reception in the Radisson Blu Sky Bar with views over the UNESCO World Heritage Old Town, a gala event in the Palace of the Grand Dukes and a farewell dinner in one of a cluster of new contemporary restaurants opening in Vilnius.
More than 70 international buyers will then experience fam trips to five destinations in Lithuania, Latvia and Finland.
With the number of pre-scheduled appointments building to what will be a total of more than 3,500, Jolanta Beniuliene, exhibition director and Vilnius Convention Bureau director said: “The Vilnius meetings industry community and those from other Baltic Sea neighbours look forward to welcoming the largest meetings industry gathering ever seen here”.
Organised by the Vilnius Convention Bureau CONVENE features the countries of the Baltic Sea Region and will take place on 10 – 11 February 2016 at the Lithuanian Exhibition and Congress Centre LITEXPO, Vilnius, Lithuania.
