The new hotel distribution division of Carlson Wagonlit Travel, RoomIt By CWT, has announced a new agreement with Expedia Affiliate Network (EAN). The agreement will make rates and availabilities for EAN supply available to RoomIt and CWT clients, giving travellers access to 197,000 properties, including 36,000 unique properties, across the globe. “CWT is committed to giving our clients the most options with the most competitive rates in the most places around the world,” says Scott Brennan (pictured), president, RoomIt by CWT. “Adding EAN to our available supply is making a significant investment to provide a better experience and stronger service for our travellers”. EAN supply will be available globally offline, through the CWT To Go mobile application, through the RoomIt online booking tool, and on major OBTs. Travellers are promised “a consistent experience with access to hotel content regardless of booking channel”. In addition to the unique properties from EAN, RoomIt already offers hundreds of thousands of traditional properties to its clients. “We know business travellers are looking for options when it comes to choosing hotels,” says Alfonso Paredes, vice-president EMEA & LATAM, Expedia Affiliate Network brand. “This agreement gives travellers many more options while helping them find the hotel they want and getting rates that will enable them to stay within their compliance structure.”
