International Confex, the UK’s flagship trade show for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) industry, has opened its call for sessions for 2027. The show runs 3-4 March at Excel London, alongside co-located events Event Production Show and The PA Show, with 6,000+ event planners expected across eight conference theatres. Submissions close 1 November 2026.

The call is open to speakers from every part of the MICE industry. We’re looking for speakers across our theatres who can bring insight, not just information:

  • Headline Stage – Big-picture conversations on leadership, global economic impacts and where the industry goes next.
  • Agency HQ – Winning RFPs, retaining talent and the latest innovations clients can’t wait to discover in 2027.
  • AI & Data Zone – Real AI in action, the latest in AEO (AI Engine Optimisation), how to turn data into decisions.
  • Exhibition HQ – Success in newly geo-adapted shows, show floor design and what visitors really want from their events.
  • People & Planet Theatre – Sustainability, inclusion and wellbeing, with the receipts to back it up.
  • Corporate Events HQ – Strategic corporate event design, audience engagement and building teams that stick around.
  • Association HQ – Member engagement, advocacy and increasing revenue for association and NFP events.
  • Event Careers Hub (new for 2027) – Career advice for mid-level eventprofs on day one, and for junior and student talent on day two.

We’re looking for speakers who bring real experience, sharp opinions and formats that go beyond the standard session slot: think workshops, case studies and honest fireside chats, not sales pitches.

Submissions close Sunday 1 November 2026.

Sessions are submitted via the show’s Lineup Ninja portal. Speaking isn’t the only way to be part of these conversations. Confex 2027 theatre sponsorship puts your brand in front of the audience each theme is built for, from agency directors to sustainability leads to the next generation of event professionals.
