Italian Exhibition Group in €20m Italian stock exchange listing

Italian Exhibition Group (IEG), one of the major players at national and European level in the organisation of tradefairs and conferences, has made its debut on Mercato Telematico Azionario (MTA) of Borsa Italiana (Italy’s stock exchange).

During the placement, IEG raised €19.9m. The company’s total 2018 turnover was approximately €160m.

Barbara Lunghi, Primary Market Manager, Borsa Italiana, stated: “We are pleased to welcome Italian Exhibition Group to Borsa Italiana’s primary market. For IEG, the listing is an opportunity for development and a further step towards strengthening its business, thanks to access to the capital market. We are certain that the Group will benefit from this operation in terms of development, profile and positioning in its sector.”

Ugo Ravanelli, CEO of IEG commented: “President Lorenzo Cagnoni and I, along with our shareholders, have clearly identified the directions to be taken for our growth, under the banner of efficiency, innovation and internationalisation. We shall therefore proceed rapidly, thanks to the quality of the management, our products and with the boost of planned investments.”
