Following its acquisition of The Art Conference (TAC) from founder Tina Zieglar in May 2016, IWSC Group has today announced the further acquisition of the London-based Moniker Art Fair.
Currently in its seventh year, the Moniker Art Fair attracts some of the most talked about artists, galleries and collectors from the finer side of the street art movement and its related sub-cultures. As it has done over the years, the art fair shares a venue with London’s leading artist-led event: The Other Art Fair.
Attracting 14,000-plus visitors to the capital’s Old Truman Brewery in the East End, the joint event forms one of the major satellite events of London’s Art Week.
Allen Gibbons, IWSC Group CEO, said: “I am delighted that we have been able to add the Moniker Art Fair to our growing portfolio of art events. The arts form a key part of our growth strategy and I look forward to Moniker Art Fair continuing its growth in size and reputation.
“This is especially exciting for us as we are once again partnering with Tina [Zieglar] with whom we launched The Art Conference successfully only a few weeks ago.”
“Good business is about recognising the strength of your people and partners” Gibbons added, “and this is a chance for IWSC Group to really utilise the expertise made available to us through TAC. Tina has established vital contacts in the industry and, as evidenced with the success of TAC, the relevant knowledge on effectively expanding an arts fair in London.”
Commenting on the partnership between IWSC Group and TAC, Zieglar said: “They have been extremely supportive of my creative vision and enthusiastic in creating innovative and experiential events in the arts. Working on TAC together showed us both the potential of our partnership and I am very excited about the development and growth of Moniker Art Fair in the years to come”.
Moniker Art Fair opens to the public on 6 October 2016 at the Old Truman Brewery.
