Global DMC and event management company Pacific World is to expand its European operations with the opening of new offices in Copenhagen and Amsterdam.
Global MD Selina Chavry announced the news at IMEX America and said: “Strengthening our reach in these very different destinations will bring lots more exciting event options for our clients. Our new incentive products designed around emotions and motivations for experiential events tick many of the boxes for both destinations that are known for their progressive cultures of creativity, sustainability and the use of innovative technology in events”.
Bo Madsen, country manager of Pacific World Denmark, added: “Copenhagen has been consistently rated as the best place to do business in Europe and it has the ‘happiest people in the world’.”
Madsen flagged the city’s safety, ease of getting around, rich history and revolutionary culinary scene as big attractions, as well as incentives opportunities on offer for long bike rides, evening canal tours and scavenger hunts.
Kim Donkers, country manager of Pacific World Netherlands listed the incentives appeal of Amsterdam including its unconventional venues from 17th century canal houses, unique museums and former Stock Exchange. “It is equally easy to hop on an Eco Solex (pictured) for a countryside tour, pay a visit to local farmers or experience one of the many art and music performances around the city,” said Donkers.
