Dutch hotel chain Postillion Hotels is expanding to The Hague, with the opening, 15 March, of the 2,000sqm Postillion Meeting Centre in the HSK Offices next to Den Haag HS Station. A 6,500sqm Convention Centre with capacity for 1,400 conference attendees will fully open in the capital in January 2022. Postillion aims to add hotel rooms to the complex in the final phase of development. Postillion’s strategy is to serve primarily international business travellers and the chain has continued to invest during these challenging times. Postillion now has representation in the four largest cities in the Netherlands (Amsterdam, The Hague, Rotterdam and Utrecht) and has and strengthened its position on the international conference market. Eric-Jan Ginjaar, managing director, Postillion Hotels, said: “We are extremely proud and happy to announce the opening of such a beautiful new location during such difficult times. The Hague distinguishes itself as a destination for international meetings and conferences and has been on our wish list for a long time. A long-held ambition is finally being fulfilled. We firmly believe in the recovery of the MICE sector and will continue to work hard towards our international growth ambitions.”
