Netherlands-based conference matchmaking platform Conferli and Event Design Collective have partnered to share their knowledge and experience in support of the changing association market. Both organisations provide consultancy and design services to association conferences. Conferli does this through its online conference matchmaking platform, which matches association conference organisers with cities, countries, and venues. The Event Design Collective are strategic event consultants that provide their trademarked methodology that provides tech tools and language on how events create value for organisations and their stakeholders. “Right from our first meeting, it became clear that we were on the same level: associations have gold in their hands with their meetings. However, things really have to change if they want to thrive in the long term. The world is changing and so must conferences,” says Nienke van der Malen, CEO and founder of Conferli. “Well-designed association congresses not only help the association thrive, yet also help to fulfil required changes for its most important stakeholders now and in the long term. Conferences are an indispensable tool to create value for all and it is something we specialise in,” explains Ingrid Rip, director (Scientific) Associations of Event Design Collective The Netherlands. The new partnership aims to ensure that associations can meet the challenges of the future while also preserving the strong history of their memberships.
