Global tech provider Cvent has announced its 2025 rankings of Europe’s top meeting destinations and hotels. The annual lists, based on over $18bn of global MICE sourcing data, spotlight cities and venues that attract the most event business.
Top cities
London, Barcelona and Madrid held the top three spots. Amsterdam rose to number 4.
Prague and Dublin entered the top 10 for the first time, driven by increased international appeal and major tech events. Here are the Cvent top 10: 1. London 2. Barcelona 3. Madrid 4. Amsterdam 5. Lisbon 6. Paris 7. Berlin 8. Rome 9. Prague 10. Dublin
Top hotels
Imperial Riding School Vienna ranked as Europe’s top meeting hotel, followed by Torre Melina Gran Meliá (Barcelona) and Hotel Arts Barcelona. Rankings now factor in RFP growth and response time, which gives more weight to the priorities of event planners.
Imperial Riding School, Autograph Collection“It’s a tremendous honour to be recognised by Cvent as the number one top meeting hotel in Europe, especially just one year after our opening,” said Jürgen Fleischhacker, general manager of the Imperial Riding School. “Cvent plays a vital role in helping us present our property online.”
Released at IMEX Frankfurt
Cvent revealed the results live at IMEX Frankfurt (20-21 May), with additional findings from its 2025 Planner Sourcing Report. Despite economic pressures, 82% of European planners still expect to host in-person events this year.
Nearly 60% predict the number of meetings will increase. The rankings are based on RFP volume, conversion, room nights and growth across Cvent’s Supplier Network.
