euromic, the association of DMCs, has added two more in its number, as it welcomes Hello! Destination Management and Connect DMC to its portfolio. The three countries these two DMCs add – USA, Dominican Republic and Mexico – brings the number of destinations euromic offers up to 51 around the globe. Founded in 1986 with headquarters in Orlando, FL, Hello! currently operates in over 50 popular meeting destinations with 13 offices including Orlando, Las Vegas, New York, San Diego, Nashville, Miami, and Washington DC. Paul Mears III, Hello!’s president and CEO commented: “We are very excited about joining euromic. It’s a great organisation, celebrating 50 years of leadership in destination management across the globe. And we will be their first and only US member… This is a great way for us to learn new ways of thinking, expose our team to new expectations, and serve new clients with the guidance of experienced partners. And I am confident that our expertise and footprint in the US make us the perfect partner for euromic and its members.” The Dominican Republic and Mexico are two more destinations for the incentive, meetings, events and conference world in the Americas – and Connect DMC brings them to the euromic table. Connect DMC has fully-owned offices in Punta Cana, Los Cabos and Santo Domingo. Ben Sauvage, CEO, says: “As we join euromic, we are excited to bring our 24 years of experience in the meetings and events industry to this wonderful association and all of its carefully selected members. In our time in this field, we have developed a deep understanding of the importance of sustainability and continuously seeking out new and innovative ideas. We believe that our industry expertise and commitment to progress will be a valuable addition to the group, and we look forward to growing together with euromic with our upcoming expansion within Mexico and the Dominican Republic.” Huw Tuckett, euromic’s executive director, said: “Benoit and Connect are leaders and an exceptional DMC – exactly the type of DMC partner we represent at euromic. Benoit’s sustainability credentials and expertise in particular will be a major benefit to euromic, and to all those who trust to use our members for their programmes.” Tuckett added: “USA has always been a gap in our global coverage; not anymore.”
